Raymond Gene Hanobik, 79 of Moon Township passed away on Monday August 14, 2017. Born July 28, 1938 in McKees Rocks son of the late Joseph and Mary (Magura) Hanobik; father of Tara (Justin) Sardello of Moon Township, grandfather of Madison and McKenzie; brother of the late Joseph Hanobik and former husband of Arlene Johnston. He served in the Airforce National Guard, he received degrees from Pitt with a major in journalism and a minor in Psycology and a BS in finance from Robert Morris. He was in advertising For Calgon for 20+ years then with the Elliott Company for whom he traveled the world. He operated his own advertising firm Hanobik Communications. He was a member of St. Margaret Mary Church and enjoyed traveling, fine dining and was a cigar aficionado.  Viewing Friday 2-4 & 6-8 PM Copeland’s  981 Brodhead Rd., Moon Township with Prayers of Transfer Saturday 9:00 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Margaret Mary Church 9:30 AM. Interment St. Mark’s Cemetery. In lieu of flower family suggests memorial contributions to the American Diabetes Association in his memory.
