My husband and I would like to express our sincere sympathy to the family and friends of your beloved Edis. Although we hadn't had the opportunity to meet Edis personally, we do understand the pain of losing one so dear. We would like to share with you comfort we have experienced from Gods word found in John 5:28,29. I especially love the resurrection account of Jesus resurrecting Lazarus here on earth back to the arms of those he loved. (John 11) How wonderful, knowing that we too will experience such joy in time. Remember also that our Heavenly Father, Jehovah ( Psalm 83:18) is there for the broken hearted and those crushed in spirit. ( Psalm 34:18) Please take a few moments, share your memories with those who surround you, for the memories shared are the ones most truly cherished, may they bring you comfort and peace as you begin to heal. Take care of yourselves and each other during this very difficult time.

My Dear Aunt Edis was a gem! She was feisty, energetic, thoughtful, loving, caring, sincere, a Strong Christian, and Matriarch to her huge family. She had time for everyone, a quick wit, a sharp mind, a good sense of humor, and mirthful laugh.
She was passionate about the Pittsburgh Steelers, a strong Republican! When Donald Trump was elected on her Birthday, she considered that her Birthday Present, as that was her Birthdate - Election Day! I will miss her dearly, we had more fun, adventures, and good times than I can remember. I have wonderful memories with her in Pittsburgh, shopping, going to the Family Reunions in WInd Ridge many times, with the 'Todd - McCann' Clan. God bless her and keep her alive in all our memories! She was a Great woman, and a good example for us all!
Love Ya ~ she would often say as her goodbye. Love you too, Aunt Edis!
Thank you Dorothy for taking care of her, these last 20 years!

Thank you. We love the time spent with Bob and Debbie. Bob was so gracious and went and purchased a speaker for my phone so we could play the piece she wanted on her return "up the aisle". "I will Meet You in the Morning". And we surely will. Debbie purchased a Terrible Towel to enhance several yellow arrangements. Go Steelers!!!!

To all the family, we send prayers, love and big hugs. We loved and admired Mrs. Williams so much and know all of you have many precious memories to share as the years go by. She was a very special lady to whom once you met her, you never forgot her. I was so thankful to get to see her and talk to her at Martha Shifflers' funeral. May the Lord give you peace, love, comfort and strength in the many times you will miss her, thankful she's with our Savior.
