Robert H. Pfaub, age 93, recently of Kennedy Township, formerly long-time resident of Moon Township, achieved his graduation, going home to his Lord, on Monday, May 29, 2017 at Ohio Valley Hospital. Born in Sewickley, on April 11, 1924, he was the only child of the late Wilbur and Helen (Neidermeyer) Pfaub. He is survived by the love of his life, Jacqueline (Fisher) Pfaub whom he married on April 13, 1947; loving father of Kathy (Timothy) Thomas of Moon and David (Shelley) Pfaub of Columbus, OH; cherished grandfather of Alexis and Alyssa Pfaub. Bob was a faithful member of Union Presbyterian Church where he served as an elder and taught adult Sunday School. He enjoyed water aerobics as a member of the Sewickley YMCA. Graduating from Coraopolis High School in 1942, he was part of the monthly meeting group of graduates. After high school, he proudly served in the United States Army during WWII in England. He obtained his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Lehigh University and worked for 34 years as an Electrical Engineer for the Dravo Corporation, retiring in 1991. Visitation Sunday 2-4, 6-9 with further visitation on Monday from 10 until 10:30 AM at Copeland’s Coraopolis, 867 Fifth Ave. with procession to Union Presbyterian Church for funeral at 11 AM. Rev. Dr. William J. Younger will officiate. Burial will follow in Union Presbyterian Church Cemetery with Military Honors.
