It was with great sadness I saw the news in the BCT of the passing of your father. What a fantastic guy with a fabulous sense of humor and adventure! Once, armed only with a compass, your Dad, Bev, Cuz'n Frankie, and Rick walked the Appalachian Trail and were gone nearly 8 hours. Just when I was thinking I should alert the campground and authorities , I heard them coming back through the woods. You were 4 or 5 last time I saw you with big, beautiful eyes and so adorable. Your folks were thrilled when they were pregnant with you so never doubt the fact that you were much wanted and loved. May you carry the love and memories of them in your heart as you continue on your life path. Please accept my sympathies on your loss.

Hi Marisa. I was a close friend of your dad's for many , many years. I am so sorry to have seen of his passing in today's BC Times. My wife and I were so looking forward to having lunch or dinner with him soon, as he said that he may be ready in a few weeks, back in June, after the operation. We have heavy hearts as I will miss my many conversations with him and his 'joke of the day' humor. Our thoughts and prayers are with you now that you have lost both your mother and father.
