A lifelong friend of my father, Ellwood K Davis Sr, and a family friend. I remember him fondly, as a leader in a Scouting group I was in, and being friends with his son, Joesph Dickerson Jr. What a fine man, and an example to all of us of what a husband, and father.
I haven't had the pleasure of spending time with Mr. Dickerson in many years, yet he left a lasting impact on my life, with the way he carried himself. A man of distinction and character....Rest in Peace, Mr Dickerson.
