I googled Carol and discovered this obituary. I am 7 years late. While going through LSU photos, I found photos of Carol and letters she wrote me later - the last in 1996.
Carol lit up every room she entered. I’m sad to hear of her passing.

Carol and I were lab partners in a Physics class at State University College Potsdam NY in the fall of 1970. Carol was kind and intelligent, and so charming that I have never forgotten her. I am sad that my only successful attempt to locate her led me here to read of her passing.
My condolences to her family and all who miss her .

I am saddened the passing of a beautiful lady. We dated for awhile in the mid 60s and met at Moffitt Beach in Speculator NY. I knew her to be very smart and talented. My condolences to her family and may God bless her.

My beautiful friend I can't even believe this is true, fly with angels, sing with them for God. My heart is broken and my eyes are red with tears, you were the kindest person I ever knew even to the unpopular, poor, and social misfits. God will sit you on his right side and hold you close to his heart for you were one of his true creations. The Jesus in me loves you Carol, I am so happy to call you friend.

Carol lived on the Heights & I spent a lot of time up there at my grandparent's house. I saw her often & had no idea that she even knew my name til one day she walked up & said "Hi Ginnie, I'm Carol, how are you?" After that she always went out of her way to speak to me, even if I hadn't seen her. She was always exceedingly kind.
I loved hearing Carol sing in Choral groups in school, she had a beautiful voice.
I think every girl in school wanted to be Carol, gorgeous, sweet & talented.
May she rest in peace.

My most fond memory of Carol is when she stayed at house during a college break.... she woke up in all her beauty really early and was teaching us how to stay in shape... so we assumed these crazy configurations on the living room floor and she assured us this would get easier!!! I thought she was the coolest girl ever!!! I choose to think I got my creative side from watching her sew and create such original pieces!! I will think of her with each project I complete! As a young girl and even after I was married she always made me feel so loved and special. I will miss her and always remember how kind and gentle she was and how much she loved all of her family. Love you....
