Carl was a lifetime friend. He was a kind and loving person. For my 60th birthday he made me a collection of oldies audio tapes which I consider priceless and will treasure forever.
Rest in peace my good friend and GOD Bless......

I'll always remember Uncle Carl always being there to help us when my mother was going through a divorce. He always took the time to take us to the movies or come and visit. I can remember him coming to the door dressed as Santa Claus Before Christmas he was awesome. I remember how he loved his dogs and making cassettes for us all the time. He was a wonderful Uncle father husband brother and friend anybody he knew. He left a great impression on me and my brothers and anybody who knew he will be very missed.

When my brothers and I were very young boys we always looked up to Uncle Carl like he was some sort of super hero. After my mother and father's divorce he was there for my mom to help in anyway that he could. It wasn't easy for a young mother raising 4 young boys on her own but believe me when I tell you the man was there to lend helping hand when my mother needed the help. He did the little things that most uncles wouldn't have had the time for. He'd knock on the door at Christmas and pose as Santa Clause, take us boys to see a movie at the Crafton Theater and always show up for our birthdays with gifts in his arms. I could g on and on! He was always there for his family. He had great pride. He loved his mother, sisters, wife & daughter. He was the true definition of the hard working family man. He was a big piece of our family and he will be missed by many. In my mind he will always be our hero Uncle Carl. Leah, I wish that we could be there. He meant a lot to me. I'm sorry! Love you, your 1st cousin, Jack

So sorry to hear of your father's passing. The passed months must have been very difficult. He was so thoughtful when putting together cassette tapes for our kids to listen to when they were little. We will never forget "Puff the Magic Dragon."
