Yerusalem Makonnen

Yerusalem Makonnen, 55, of Coraopolis, passed away peacefully on October 17, 2020. Born in Addis Abeba, Ethiopia on December 25, 1964 to her parents Makonnen Yimame and Teriste Gire. She worked as a nurse’s aide for many years and was always involved in church activities. Yerusalem is survived by her sisters Martha Makonnen (Tadesse), Betelhem Makonnen, niece Meklit, nephew Leben, and many family and friends.

A funeral service will be held on Monday October 19 at Copeland’s Coraopolis, 867 Fifth Ave, at 12:30 PM, followed by burial in Resurrection Cemetery.
