William "Sim" Simonette Obituary

William J. Simonette

It is with unexpected and great sadness to tell of the passing of my brother and best friend on March 18, 2024, Bill Simonette, known as “Sim” to many. He was a quiet guy. Born on November 4, 1942, to Rocco and Catherine (Lesovitch) Simonette. He worked 42 years in food service at Pittsburgh Airport. He loved going to casinos, WWE Wrestling, scratch off lottery tickets and car cruises. “Big Red”, his Mustang, was his pride and joy. He is survived by brother Robert, sister Janet (Reno), daughter Lisa and grandsons Kelly and R.J. and special friend Bill Douglas. My heart is broken. Rest In Peace with Kate and Harley, my brother. Arrangements were private at Copeland’s. Special thank you to Reno, Bill, Carole, Tabitha, and the Coraopolis Police Department for their support.
