William Joseph Silberman

William Joseph Silberman, Age 75 of San Ramon, CA passed away on Monday, September 4, 2023. Born in Pittsburgh, PA on November 12, 1947, a son of the late William and Jean (Marks) Silberman. Beloved husband for 37 years to Denise Silberman. Father of Brianna Abbott. Step-father of Mandy Romero. Brother of Charlotte Kopay, Maryellen Presutti, Mark Silberman and the late Bonnie Kuzniewski. Also survived by 5 grandchildren. Bill served his country in the US Navy and was awarded the National Defense Service Medal and a distinguished member of the Admirals Staff. He also served as the President of Columbia School of Broadcasting and owned his own Construction Company. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and Band of Brothers. In his spare time, he enjoyed horseback riding and training. Friends will be received at the R.D. Copeland Funeral Home, 981 Brodhead Road, Moon Twp on Thursday, September 14, 2023 from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 PM. A prayer service will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 10 am followed by Mass of Christian Burial at St. Margaret Mary at 10:30 AM. Interment at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
