William Rapp IV Obituary

William “Bill” Rapp IV, 59, passed away peacefully at his home on September 21, 2019. Bill was a talented musician and could often be found with his band The Messengers. He could sing, play guitar, and play the harmonica. He also loved to spend time with his family. Bill proudly served his country as Corporal in the United States Marine Corps.

Bill is survived by his beloved wife Tammy. He is also survived by twin daughters Samantha and Alexis Patterson, father William E. Rapp III, sister Terri Rapp Krah (Paul Donahue), and brother Daniel Rapp (Mary). Bill is also survived by his nieces and nephews Christian, Desiree, Toni, Sonya, Justin, and Kacie, as well as his many fellow musicians and friends. Bill was preceded in death by his mother Ruth Ann Rapp.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday September 24 from 2-4 and 5-8 at Copeland’s Coraopolis, 867 Fifth Ave, followed by a service at 10 AM Wednesday.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Bill’s name may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
