William DePace Obituary

William J. DePace, a life-long resident of Coraopolis, made his journey to meet his Lord, peacefully on Tuesday evening, May 26, 2020 at Allegheny General Hospital with his wife and sister by his side. He left us way too early, dying from complications of heart and kidneys. He was born in Sewickley on May 14, 1961, son of Carmella (Calabrese) DePace and the late Anthony DePace.

Beloved husband for 20 years, Charlene (Matuke) DePace; cherished son of Carmella DePace; loving brother of LuAnne DePace of Coraopolis, Jimmy (Joy) DePace of Oklahoma, Roseann (Ted) Villella of Darlington, Michael (Leslie) DePace of Hopewell and Steve (Teresa) DePace of Coraopolis and the late Anthony (surviving spouse Dorothy) of Atlanta, GA; son-in-law of Eileen Fisher of Coraopolis; brother-in-law of the late Donna Matuke; nephew of Anthony Calabrese of Glenfield; loved like children: Dustin and his daughter Alice-Lynn, Maya, and Angel along with loving nieces and nephews: Cristina, Jimmy, Sara, Matt, Sammy, Michael Jr., Suzanna, Ava and Michael.

William was the beloved maintenance man for 25 years of the Coraopolis Towers. William had such a kind heart and smile. He and his wife loved camping especially at Peacefully Valley Camp land, loved being outdoors, and going to car cruises.

William requests no service. A celebration of his life will be scheduled once COVID-19 restrictions are lifted. Arrangements by Copeland’s. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations if desired to the National Kidney Foundation. William’s family would like to thank all the doctors and staff at DaVita Thorn Run Dialysis, and the doctors and nurses at Allegheny General Hospital.
