Wayne R. Gilberti

Wayne R. Gilberti, Sr. Age 86, a resident of Robinson since 1964, passed away on Friday, February 24, 2023. Wayne was the beloved husband of 64 years to Nancy (Taucher) Gilberti. Cherished father of Cheryl Anne Schrecengost (David) of Oakdale, Cynthia Ann Campbell (James) of Findlay Twp, Donna Jean Wilson (William) of Weirton, WV and Wayne Robert Gilberti (Melissa) of S. Fayette. Brother of Nancy DiCicco (Paul) of Coraopolis and the late Louis (late Nancy) Gilberti and late Joseph Gilberti. Grandfather of Sara Feltovich (Robert), Kyle Parrish, Eric Campbell, Mara Campbell, Andrew Wilson, Lindsey Wilson, Justin Gilberti, Joshua Gilberti and the late Christopher Schrecengost. Great-grandfather of Robert and Oliver Feltovich. Wayne was a member of the US Army National Guard 28th Division. Throughout his years, Wayne worked at Dravo Corp in their Personnel Records Department, Union Barge Line, as a storeroom clerk and purchaser. He also worked for Man Power Temp Service in their personnel department and at Bell Motor Parts for 23 years as a counter sales clerk. He was also a devoted member of the Archangel Gabriel Parish, Holy Trinity Church where he served as an usher since 1994. Wayne was the unofficial Mayor of Eat ’n Park in Robinson and his presence there will be sorely missed.  A memorial mass will be held on Friday at 11 AM at the Archangel Gabriel Parish, Holy Trinity Church. All are invited to attend. Contributions in Wayne’s name can me directed to either the Food Bank at Archangel Gabriel Parish or to the Alzheimer’s Association.
