Timothy M. Zalewski

Timothy M. Zalewski, 82, of Moon Township passed away on July 4th, 2026, in his home. Timothy was born on June 19th, 1944, in Glassport, PA to the late Leo and Blanche (Worek) Zalewski. Tim was the devoted husband of 53 years to the late Patricia Zalewski, who recently passed away in May of this year.

Tim was a loving husband, father, and Pap. He adored his family, spending time with them, and supporting them. His life centered around his loved ones, and he will be remembered for his kind heart. Tim could often be found relaxing in his favorite chair while completing a crossword puzzle and Sundays in the fall were spent cheering on his Pittsburgh Steelers. Tim was a devout member of St. Margaret Mary Church and taught us to have faith during the tough times. He retired from Moon Area School District where he worked in facilities.

Survivors include his children, Lisa King of Cleveland, Ohio, Jeffrey Klotz of Moon Township, and Jason Zalewski and his wife, Lori, of Moon Township. Grandchildren are Alison King, Ariana Zalewski, Alex Zalewski, and Jessica Klotz. Great-grandchildren are Haisley Hunt and Holden Hunt. Also, his brother, Leon Zalewski and wife, Veronica, sister Mary Ann Zalewski, and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Tim was preceded in death by his parents, his cherished son, Gerald Klotz II, twin grandchildren, Jennifer and Jeffrey Klotz, his brothers, Carl (Kay) Zaleski and Edward (Anne Marie) Zalewski.

A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00am on Friday July 10th, 2026, at St. Margaret Mary Church, 1 Parish Place, Moon Township, PA. There will be no visitation per Timothy’s wishes. Arrangements entrusted to R.D. Copeland Funeral Home.
