Thomas (Tommy) Michael Hall, age 56, passed away peacefully at his home on September 11, 2025. Born on August 13, 1969, he was the beloved son of the late Donald (Tom) and Florence Hall.
Tom’s memory lives on through his daughter, Leah Hall, and her mother, Stacey Jacobs-Hall; his brother Doug and sister-in-law Sharon Hall; his niece and nephew, Caroline and Sammy; his sister Dyan Fischer and her children, Cailin and Matthew; and his loving fiancée, Michelle (Kaczmarek) Bailey, along with her son Gage and many future in-laws.
Tom had a gift for making friends wherever life took him. His sense of humor left us with countless photos of his lifelong antics—and not nearly enough formal ones for this farewell. In his youth, he was a talented baseball player. In later years, he was a hardworking man who showed his love through acts of service. A skilled mason, Tom could build or fix anything and often lent his talents to help neighbors, support family and church events, and assist his future in-laws.
He had a green thumb and grew vegetables in abundance—if you met him, your kitchen likely overflowed with produce. His sunflowers were admired by the entire block. Tom found peace in quiet moments, especially while fishing or spending time with his daughter. He was a devoted groom at horse shows for both his fiancée and daughter, always ready with a peppermint, a spare lead line, or words of encouragement.
Tom was a proud member of the Local 9 PA Bricklayers & Allied Craftworkers Union for many years and a devoted fan of all Pittsburgh sports. His smile was for everyone—those who knew him and those who were about to. It was a smile the world needed and will deeply miss.
Friends will be received at R. D. Copeland, Inc., 981 Brodhead Rd., Moon Township on Friday from 5 – 8 pm, where a Blessing Service will be held at 6 pm.
