Thomas M. Moody, Jr.

Thomas M. Moody, Jr., Age 78 of Oakdale since 1975, passed away at his home on Friday, June 26th. Tom was the beloved husband of 53 years to Kathryn (O'Connor) Moody. Loving father of Anthony Marshall Moody (Rosie), Timothy Marshall Moody (Rachel), and the late Terry Marshall Moody. Brother of the late Jacqueline J. Cumpston. Grandfather of Rowan, Ryan, John, Quinn and Luke Moody. Also survived by loving nieces and nephews. After serving his country in the US Navy during Vietnam, Tom went on to work as a Draftsman for the Core Furnace Co, retiring in 2018 after 48 years of service.  Tom was a member of St. Columbkille parish in Oakdale along with belonging to VFW Post #7714 and the American Legion Post #0862. Friends will be received at the R.D. Copeland Funeral Home, 867 5th Avenue, Coraopolis on Wednesday, July 1st from  2 – 4 and 6 – 8pm. Services and Interment will be PRIVATE. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Tom's name can be made to the American Cancer Society.
