Thomas J. Lattanzio, 74, of Coraopolis, unexpectedly on Monday, January 18, 2021 at Allegheny General Hospital. Born in Sewickley on March 3, 1946, he was one of two sons to the late Albert and Kathleen (Nestico) Lattanzio. Beloved husband and best friend of Stephanie (Butler) Lattanzio; loving father of Jenny Marchionda (Robert); cherished Papa of Holly Marchionda; brother of David Lattanzio (Rosa); uncle and godfather of Kathi Kister (Merlin); uncle of David Lattanzio Jr. (Mary Anne); great uncle of Nicole, Ryan, Caroline, Alex, and Julia; former brother-in-law of Dorothy Lattanzio. Tom was a 1964 graduate of Coraopolis High School and had attended Michigan State University. He proudly served in the United States Navy from 1967-1973. He was a member of St. Margaret Mary Church, the Coraopolis Wolves Club, and the Lions Club. Tom, owner of Bell Motor Parts, worked in the family business begun by his father in 1946, until he took over in 1987. Most recently he had been working at Auto Zone. Tom loved listening to jazz music, operating a Ham Radio, and was fascinated with trains of all sorts. Visitation Friday, January 29, 2021 from 2-4, 6-8 PM at Copeland’s Coraopolis, 867 Fifth Ave., where prayers will be recited on Saturday at 8:50 AM followed by Mass at St. Margaret Mary Church at 9:30 AM.
