Thomas Herry Harlee, of Coraopolis
January 5, 1938 – October 4, 2020
Born to the late Prince Sr. and Vivian Harlee and preceded in death by brothers Prince Clayton Harlee, Jr. and Wendell Harlee, Sr.
Mr. Thomas served in the US Army and worked at J&L Steel and Moon Area School District over the years. He was a member of several clubs. He loved his family and was a true family man. He loved his town of Coraopolis. He was a great man, father, neighbor and friend. He cared for all he came in contact with and would surely make you laugh and smile. He made his daily stop to Micky Dee’s to enjoy his large 4 cream and 4 sugar coffee and a fish sandwich or cheeseburger. He’d stop by the detail shop, checking on the guys and always peeked his head in the Goodwill. Thomas would often be found hanging out at the corner store talking numbers with Chief, not to forget dropping past the bank. Before heading home, he’d occasionally stop and get some fried rice. He will be so missed.
Mr. Thomas is leaving behind his son Prince Clayton Watts Harlee (Roxanne); sisters Gladys Johnson, Carrie Fletcher, and Katie Farmer; brother-in-law Henry “Toothpick” Brown; nieces Vivan Arrington, Sharon DeNard, M’Shele Harlee, Cynthia Harlee LoMonaco, and Sandra Harlee Amagwula; nephews Raymond Johnson, Prince Clayton Johnson, Bryant Harlee, Donald Smith Jr., Ponce Arrington, Paul DeNard, Mark Fletcher, Wendell Harlee, Jr., Maurice Harlee and Curtis Harlee and a host of extended relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday October 13 at Copeland’s Coraopolis, 867 Fifth Ave, from 10 AM until time of service at 1PM. Burial will follow in Coraopolis Cemetery.
