Terry Woods McGuire

Terry Woods McGuire of Moon Township passed after a long and courageous battle with cancer on September 8, 2025. Beloved wife of Bob McGuire; loving mother of William McGuire and Delaney Graff (Mason). She is also survived by sisters Kate Cesarz (Gary), Jann Curti, Betsy Polk (Jim); brother John Woods; nieces Hannah, Morgan, Brenna and Rachel; nephews Nathan and Adam; mother-in-law Janet McGuire and sister-in-law Liz McGuire. She was preceded in death by her parents William and Phyllis Woods, brother William "Billy" Woods, sister Patti Alott and father-in-law Peter McGuire. Terry was born in Pittsburgh on October 19, 1961, grew up in Glenshaw, PA, and attended Shaler High School.

Terry was a woman of many talents, but she valued her family most of all. She was a wonderful singer who appeared in musical theater productions throughout the Pittsburgh area; and served as a cantor at her church. Her creativity showed in her love of decorating the house for the holidays and in her many Halloween costumes she loved to put together. She loved dogs, especially Golden Retrievers and considered herself blessed to have had two of the "bestest" boys, Woody and Sheldon, in her life.

Terry worked as an Executive Admin throughout her career, with the last eight years spent at Catilize Health in Wexford.

Terry fought cancer three times with a quiet courage, determination and an unwavering faith in God. She was an inspiration to all who knew her. A performer at heart, she was funny and entertaining to the end; never letting her illness get her down.

Family and friends will be welcomed at R. D. Copeland, Inc. Funeral Home, 981 Brodhead Road, Moon Township on Sunday, September 14, 2025, from 2-4pm & 6-8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph Church in Coraopolis on Monday, September 15th at 10am (EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH) with interment at Resurrection Cemetery following the funeral.
