Ted Anthony Vallandingham

Ted Anthony Vallandingham, age 69, of Moon Township, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 11, 2026. Born November 30, 1956, in Alexandria, KY, Ted was the son of the late Orville and Joyce (Proctor) Vallandingham. He will be deeply missed by his cherished family, including his beloved wife, Cecelia (Ceyrolles) Vallandingham, his sons Adam and Karson Vallandingham, both of whom he was immensely proud, his dear brother, Tim Vallandingham, nieces and nephews Jami Vallandingham Hoskins (Dave), Ryan "Bac" Vallandingham (Norma Gilbert), Kamron and the late Karly Krull. Ted was the son-in-law of Joan and the late Karl Ceyrolles, and brother-in-law of Teri Vallandingham, Karla Krull and William Ceyrolles.

Ted was a proud United States Navy veteran. During his service, he served aboard the USS Lexington under the command of Captain John S. McCain. His commitment to service and his country was an important part of his life and a source of great pride. Following his military service, Ted dedicated nearly 40 years to the airline industry. He began his career with Comair, followed by USAir/US Airways, ultimately retiring from American Airlines as a Heavy Maintenance Aircraft Inspector in 2020. His long career reflected his dedication, perseverance, and commitment to his work and those around him.

Ted will be remembered most for his love and devotion to his family, his pride in his sons, and his years of service to his country and community. He leaves behind a legacy of love, dedication, and cherished memories that will remain with all who knew him. Special thanks to Bridges Hospice, especially his nurse Kim, for all of the loving care over the past several months.

Friends will be received at R. D. Copeland, Inc., 981 Brodhead Road, Moon Township, on Thursday, August 13, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Interment will take place in Alexandria, Kentucky, on Saturday.
