Stephen Paul Patton, age 78, resided in Midland, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on June 25, 2025, embraced by the love of his family. For nearly 45 years, Steve dedicated himself to the retail automotive industry, holding positions as Business Manager, Sales Manager, and General Manager.
Steve’s greatest joy was being with his family. He had a love for singing and karaoke, dancing, and always held a special place in his heart for animals. Throughout his life, quiet faith and gentle strength carried him through both challenges and celebrations.
He was married to Bonnie Marie (Bostrom) Patton until her passing in 2015, a partnership filled with deep love and cherished memories that shaped much of his life. In 2020, he found new joy and companionship when he married Cindy Lou (Monaco) Patton.
Steve survives by his four children: Denise Marie Gargano (Marty), Dennis Michael Patton (Sue), Elizabeth Ann Hallman, and Stephen Paul Patton Jr., as well as six grandchildren: Kalie Murphy (Patrick), Tyler Gargano (Hallie), Emma Patton, Ella Patton, Kathrine Hallman, and Robert Benjamin Hallman along with 5 Great Grandchildren.
He is also survived by four siblings: Jan Hein (Bill), Sharon Thompson (Glenn), Ruthie Hendler-Swickline (John), and Elizabeth Rose Knox. He was preceded in death by his sister Linda McCauley (John) and his parents.
A private family funeral service will be held at Copeland Funeral Home in Sewickley, Pennsylvania.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Beaver County Humane Society or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Steve’s memory.
Though he has passed from this world, Steve’s spirit will live on in the laughter of his grandchildren, the memories shared with family, and the hearts of all who knew him. His journey may have ended, but the love he gave remains timeless.
