Shirley Mae (Hofmann) Gallagher

Shirley Mae (Hofmann) Gallagher, age 92, of Moon Township, died on Wednesday, May 4, 2022. She was the beloved wife of the late Hugh Gallagher; loving mother of Edward (Sandy) Gallagher, Thomas (Sandy) Gallagher, Christine (Joseph) Giovannitti, Sally (Ellis) Frantz, Kevin (Peggy) Gallagher, Teresa (Michael) Wagner, Sharon (Amy Barnard) Gallagher, Anthony Gallagher, Raymond (Barbara) Gallagher, Mary (Thomas) Sabolcik and the late Hugh (surviving spouse Diane) Gallagher, Jr.; sister of the late Robert, Lois and Joann. She was preceded in death by her great-grandson, Finnegan Roessler. Also survived by 19 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren and her loving church family. Shirley worked for Allegheny Airlines for over 10 years as a reservation specialist. She was very active in her religious life with St. Margaret Mary Church. She loved her family deeply and enjoyed traveling with them, especially to the Outer Banks. Shirley lived life with the view of “whatever comes along”. Everyone is welcome to attend a Funeral Mass in St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, Moon Twp. on Tuesday, May 10th at 10 am.  In lieu of flowers please consider a direct donation to Grady Gallagher at 3452 Cedar Glen Dr Allison Park, PA 15101 or electronically through Zelle at  tommy_g_man@yahoo.com and/or Pittsburgh Children's Hospital in Memory of Finnegan Roessler.
