Shirley (Stoebe) Tomb, 100 years young, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 27, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. Shirley was born in West Homestead, PA on October 15, 1925, one of twelve children born to the late Harry and Sophie (Caspari) Stoebe. In addition to her parents and siblings, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 57 years, William R. Tomb. Shirley is survived by her three devoted children and their spouses, Karen and Russell Peck, Gary and Christine Tomb, and Sherry and John Lamanna; seven cherished grandchildren: Richard (Maria) Peck, Shelley Burke, Kevin (Elizabeth) Tomb, Kelly Tomb, Erika (Lydon) Small, Jeana (Andrew) Baker, and Sean (Sydney) Lamanna; also 9 great grandchildren with one due anytime soon. Shirley was a resident of Penn Hills from 1957-2005 and became a resident of Masonic Village at Sewickley. She was a member of Trinity Tower United Methodist Church, Penn Hills. Her hobbies included cooking, baking, gardening and embroidery. But her God and her family were the center of her life. She had just celebrated her milestone birthday with two parties, and her legacy is the tender loving care of her family. Visitation Thursday (Oct. 30) 2-7 PM at Copeland's Moon Township, 981 Brodhead Rd. where service will be held on Friday (Oct. 31) at 11 AM. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Park, 401 Curry Hollow Rd., Pittsburgh, PA 15236.
