Shirita L. Bronaugh

Shirita “Rita” L. Bronaugh, 55, became an angel on Tuesday, December 22, 2020, passing from this earthly life at West Hills Health and Rehab surrounded by her daughters. Rita was greeted in heaven by her parents, Mary Bronaugh and Butch Blackman. Rita, born on December 29, 1964 in Sewickley, she was one of five children. Rita was the loving and caring mother of Shikaila Bronaugh, Shante (Stephen) Bocka, and Shiria Carter; loving grandmother of Sharone, Kyra, Jaia, Chance, Amier, and Nakiah; awesome sister to Marilyn Early, Marlin, Tracey, Eric Bronaugh and the late Coralyn "Chikki" Bronaugh; also, many cherished nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and many friends. Rita loved to spoil and pamper her children, best Tupperware hostess, and enjoyed cooking. Rita was a wonderful baker specializing in cheesecake and pound cake- don’t you wish you had her secret recipes? But all the recipes were in her head and will remain a secret.  Rita had worked for Sewickley Pediatrics as a Medical Assistant. Rita was fun loving and will be dearly missed by her family and friends. A memorial visitation will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2021 from 12 Noon until time of service at 1 PM. Rev. Yvonne Carpenter will officiate.
