Shalene Marie Thomas

Shalene Marie Thomas, age 44, of Monaca passed away on Monday, August 25, 2025.  Beloved daughter of Joyce Applegarth Gilbert; loving mother of Tayonna North(Jaleel Fields)  and Naudia North; dear partner of Lamont North; devoted “Gigi” of Kendrix, Azaria, Kavia and her expected little Asiah; niece of Mary Applegarth and Dorothy Applegarth Bialkowski; also survived by a host of dear cousins. Shalene enjoyed reading, spending time at the gym and getting her hair done, but her most precious time was spent with her dear grandbabies playing and coloring. They brought joy and happiness to her daily life. Services were private. Arrangements entrusted to R. D. Copeland, Ltd., Coraopolis, PA.
