Sarah A. (Tahon) Roberts

 It is with immeasurable sadness that we announce Sarah (Tahon) Roberts, our beloved mother, passed peacefully on Wednesday, April 8th, 2026. She was 86 years old, born in Russellton, PA on December 9th, 1939. She was one of five children, the only girl, born to the late Alfred and Emily (Banfield) Tahon. Sarah was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Samuel “Sam”McKay Roberts, on Feb. 12, 2021. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by 3 brothers Charles, Alfred, and Tommy Tahon. She loved feeding and watching the birds, crocheting, and word puzzles. Sarah was always there to talk to, and she loved her phone calls with the family. Cherished mother of Robin (Sam) Roberts, David Roberts, and Penny (Bill) Slan; adoring grandmother of Jason (Christina), Sarah, Rosa, Samantha (Brandon who she fondly called “Brian”), and Rachel (Jacob). She was also blessed with 9 great grandchildren (1 on the way) and 1 great great grandchild; along with her only living brother, Eugene Tahon. Services were private at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. Arrangements by Copeland’s Moon Township.
