Ruth Ann (Grannis) Foster

Ruth Ann Foster, age 90, of Moon Township passed away on Saturday, July 19, 2025. She was born on July 14, 1935, the daughter of the late John and Ann Puskar Grannis. Beloved with of the late Richard H. Foster; loving mother of Richard B. Foster, Deborah (Victor) Roppa and the late Brian Foster; dear grandmother of Richard “BT” Foster, Chrysten Foster, Heather Kolar, and Brian Roppa; great grandmother of Hayden, Isabella, Brooks, Paige and Cole; sister of the late John “Jack” Grannis, Ted Grannis, Don Skibo, Robert Grannis and Ruth’s twin, the late Richard Grannis. She was a special mother, grandmother and best friend. Caring for the family came first. Her cooking and baking were second to none. Ruth was multitalented and very artistic, excelling in oil painting, creating wreaths, and all types of arts and crafts. She loved the outdoors, watching the local wildlife and birds, she knew many of the types by name. Ruth and her dear Richard spent many days planting and gardening.  Friends received at R. D. Copeland, Ltd., 867 Fifth Avenue, Coraopolis on Sunday from 2 – 4 pm where a Funeral Service will be held on Monday at 11 am.
