Ruth V. "Tootsie" Alimena

Ruth V. “Tootsie” Pander Alimena, age 93, of Moon Township, died on Sunday, September 17, 2023. Beloved wife of the late Robert L. Pander and Frank P. “Duke” Alimena; loving mother of Marty (Barb) Pander, Carol (Bill) Gileot and the late Larry (surviving spouse Betty) Pander, the late Kathy (surviving spouse Parker) Smith and the late Ronnie Pander; stepmother of William (Lindsay) Alimena, David (Suzanne) Alimena, Sandra (Donnie) Forsythe and the late Donna (Darrell) Friend; sister of the late Martin, Dave, Herbert, William, and George Lytle and Anna Louise Recchion. Also survived by 10 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and several step grand and great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Tootsie was strong in her faith.  She gave as much love as she received through her friends, family, and Faith.  Anyone who met her was well aware of her spunk and was always embraced with respect and love. Tootsie was a past member of the Coraopolis United Methodist Church and the Ladies of the Eastern Star, and a current member of the New Bethlehem Presbyterian Church. Friends will be received at R. D. Copeland, Inc., 981 Brodhead Road, Moon Township on Thursday 2 – 4 & 6 – 8 pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday at 11 am in the New Bethlehem Presbyterian Church, 183 New Bethlehem Church Road, Aliquippa, PA  15001. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH.  In addition to flowers, contributions may be made to the New Bethlehem Presbyterian Church.
