Rose (Rowe) LoBello, 91, of Coraopolis, a wonderful mom, a woman before her time, and wise businesswoman, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 10, 2021, at her home surrounded by her devoted children. Rose was born in Boomer, WV on March 10, 1930, one of six children to the late Ross and Katie (Oliver) Rowe. The family made Coraopolis their home. She married Anthony LoBello at St. Joseph Church and they had 39 years of marriage while working side by side in the family business until he passed on February 18, 1988. Beloved and cherished mother of Ben (Chris) LoBello, Rosalie (David) Richards, Ross (Teresa) LoBello, and John LoBello; loving grandmother of Ashley (Joe) Giardina and Giavonni LoBello; sister of Maryann McCutcheon and the late infant Benny, infant Benny, Tony Rowe, and Pearl Sambolt; also, many loving nieces and nephews. Rose, at an early age worked at the restaurant and developed a stellar work ethic which was the grooming of her ownership. Her parents, Ross and Katie were owners and operators of the local restaurant, The Spaghetti House, begun in 1944. Rose purchased the business in 1970 and generations of the family, came together daily to work at the family business where everything was homemade, family recipes were handed down, and customers were loved like family. Very Old World with a tangible spirit. Everyone was made to feel special, and Rose’s personality and energy was the business. The Spaghetti House was featured on the Food Network and the Sunday Edition of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. The Spaghetti House closed in 2018. Visitation Wednesday 2-4, 6-8 at Copeland’s Coraopolis, 867 Fifth Ave. where service will be held on Thursday at 11 AM. Burial will follow at Coraopolis Cemetery.
