Rose A. (Thomas) Kerfoot, lived to celebrate her 94th birthday this past Sunday, born September 10, 1929, and passing Thursday, September 14, 2023, at Good Samaritan Hospice at Heritage Valley Beaver. Born in Sewickley, she was the daughter of the late Patsy and Philomena (Celio) Thomas. Beloved wife for 29 years to Richard “Sarge” Kerfoot who passed on May 29, 1999. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by siblings: Tony (Betty)Thomas and Marie (Paul) Pressley; and stepson David Kerfoot. Survived by brother: Richard (Lee) Thomas; stepdaughter: Vickie (Bill) Drakes; stepson: Keith (Pat) Kerfoot; and numerous step grandchildren; also, many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great great nieces and great great nephews; along with many great friends. She worked in Civilian personnel for the US Government, retiring from the 911th. Rose enjoyed bowling, golfing, and was a beautiful knitter. And don’t forget, a DIE-HARD Pirate fan to the end! Services were private. Arrangements by Copeland’s. The family would like to thank all of Rose’s friends for being there for her. She will be greatly missed by all the people’s lives she touched.
