Rose Elizabeth Hertzer

Hertzer, Rose Elizabeth of Moon Township passed on Monday, September 20, 2021. Beloved wife of 57 years of John “Jack” Hertzer; loving mother of John A. (Helen) Hertzer and Stephen P. (Lisa) Hertzer; dear grandmother of John N. (Megan), Samuel, Zane and Evangeline; sister of Homer J. (Sandra) Bash and the late Peter and Anthony (late Beth) Bash. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Rose worked as an Account Supervisor for Moon Township for 29 dedicated years. She was a faithful attendee at St. Joseph Church as a Eucharistic Minister and a current member of St. Margaret Mary Church. She was very devout in her faith and was a longtime CCD teacher at St. Catherine’s and active with the Felician Sisters. She loved her grandchildren and animals and enjoyed country music. Friends will be received at R. D. Copeland, Inc., 981 Brodhead Road, Moon Township on Thursday 2 – 4 & 6 – 8 pm where a Funeral Prayer will be held on Friday at 9:30 am, followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Margaret Mary Church at 10 am.  Contributions may be made to an Alzheimer’s or Dementia fund of your choice.
