Rose De Luca,90, of Moon Township, formerly of Imperial, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 4, 2020 at Victoria Manor. She was born in Maple Glen, PA on July 11, 1929, the last surviving child of fourteen born to the late Emidio William and Suzie (Banks) De Luca. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings Anna De Luca Weber (John), Frances De Luca McMinn (Charlie), Anthony “Tony” De Luca, Christina De Luca Karolewicz Marino, Lena De Luca Shadursky, Mary Jane De Luca Dolan, Beatrice De Luca Knisely, Dorothy De Luca, William De Luca, Joe De Luca, Pete De Luca, Paul De Luca, and George De Luca. Rose was a hard worker all her life. She had been employed by Consolidated Glass, Coraopolis, a Monaca Glass Factory, Hoods Printing Co. and was retired from Van Balen’s Laundry. She was a member of AFL-CIO #141 and the Independent Bible Presbyterian Church. Beloved mother of William De Luca (Mary Lou); loved like a daughter Susan De Luca Stewart (“Skip”); loved like a son George De Luca; cherished grandmother of William II (Norene), Kevin (Leah), Shawn, and Dustin; loved like grandchildren US Navy Corpsman Daniel Stewart and Michael Stewart; proud great grandmother of Tyler, Chase, Olivia and Bella; also nieces, nephews and cousins. Rose requested cremation. Burial will take place at Resurrection Cemetery. A service will be held later to celebrate her life. Arrangements by Copeland’s.
