Ronald J. "Hummer" Goss

Ronald J. “Hummer” Goss, age 91, of Moon Township died on Saturday, August 5, 2023. Beloved husband of the late Esther Boughton Goss; loving father of William (Donna) Goss, Diane (Edward) O’Shea and Joan (Thomas) McEachern; grandfather of Nathan (Karen) Goss, Chandler Stough, Andrew McEachern, Ryan McEachern, and Jason Stough; great grandfather of Cameron and Dominic Johnson; brother of the late Robert, Merle “Peck” and Kenneth Goss. Ronald worked as a lineman for Duquesne Light for over 40 years and also served in the Air National Guard for 35 years, retiring at the rank of Senior Master Sergeant. He enjoyed playing softball, bowling, and worked at the West Hills Food Pantry for many years. Friends received at R. D. Copeland, Inc., 981 Brodhead Road, Moon Township on Thursday from 2 – 4 & 6 – 8 pm where a Funeral Service will be held on Friday at 11 am, followed by burial in Sewickley Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the West Hills Food Pantry, 522 Carnot Rd, Moon Twp, PA 15108.
