Robert "Bob" G. Grannis

Robert G. “Bob” Grannis, 67, of Neville Island, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 17, 2024, at Allegheny General Hospital. Bob was born in Sewickley on July 16, 1957, one of three children to Mildred (Letrick) and the late Robert Grannis. Bob was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 25 years, Susan A. (Snyder) Grannis and his brother, Bruce Grannis. In addition to his mother Mildred Grannis, Bob is survived by his two cherished daughters, Lindsey and Sydney; his girlfriend, Amy Hartman; his sister, Beth Mackey; and nephews Cory and Billy Mackey.  Bob was proud to be a Neville Islander and a great  “girl Dad”. Bob was a big fan of the Pittsburgh Penguins, a season ticket holder for 30 years. He had worked for Verizon Wireless as a manager in Robinson and the Waterfront. Fondly known to his classmates as “Griz”, he was a 1975 graduate of Cornell High School, and #66 on the football team. He was a beach kind of guy who was looking forward to his daughters becoming Floridians. Visitation Monday, October 21, 2024, from 2-4, 6-8 at Copeland’s Coraopolis, 867 Fifth Ave. where service will be held on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, at 11 AM. Burial will follow in Coraopolis Cemetery.
