Robert E. Lee, Jr,
It is with heavy hearts that we inform you, Robert E. Lee, Jr, a wonderful husband, and a great father, and an amazing brother, passed away peacefully on the morning of Thursday, September 10, 2020 at Allegheny General Hospital. He was 55. Born in Pittsburgh on November 27, 1964, he was one of two children born to the late Lorraine (Jones) and Robert E. Lee, Sr. He and his wife have three children, and all made their home in Crescent. He was the beloved husband for 30 years to Carroll (Amon) Lee; loving father of Alyssa (Christopher Schreyer), Nathan (Alexa) and Ryan; brother of Susan (Carl) Fisher; uncle to Jacob and Zachary; many cousins; three aunts Marge, Janet, and Pat; lots of friends and neighbors; and last but not least his dogs Freckles the Beagle and Drago the German Shepherd. Fondly known to many at “Bobo” or Bob, he was immensely proud of his name, in fact his mother-in-law referred to him as the “General”. Bob obtained his BS in Electrical Engineering at Point Park University and his MBA from Robert Morris University. He was employed at Emerson Process Management as an electrical engineer. Bob was an avid reader, golfer, and loved riding his bicycle. He loved being with his family. Enjoyed watching sport, aliens, and scary movies. His drink of choice was Coke Zero! He was a faithful member of St. Catherine of Siena and served on the Parish Council. No words can describe our love nor our loss. We feel so privileges that we were part of his life. We will always miss you.
