Robert E. Kubicko

March 14, 1937 – March 15, 2020

Passed away peacefully surrounded by family after struggling with multiple health issues. Bob, fondly known as Swab to his longtime friends, proudly served our country in the Air Force. He was an aircraft mechanic for 35 years with USAirways and retired in 1999. He was a lifelong Steelers season ticket holder and loved all Pittsburgh sports teams. Bob loved classic cars, especially his 1957 Plymouth Fury.  He also enjoyed spending time with his beloved grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife of 40 years Evelyn T. (Wilson), who was his high school sweetheart. Bob is survived by his son Robert S. Kubicko and his daughter Susan R. Kubicko.

In addition, he is survived by his wife Geraldine “Jerri” Kubicko and her children Lisa Gould (Bob), Ronald Szuchy (Alessandra), Laura Propst (Terry), and Bobbi Jo Corbin (Eric), along with 10 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and multiple nieces and nephews.

Swab was also preceded in death by his mother Helen, father Frank, brother Larry, sister Marlene and is survived by his sister-in-law Gloria Balog, his brother-in-law Steve Sekula, multiple nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Services for Bob will be held privately.
