Robert Butteri

Robert Dwight Butteri August 3rd, 1938 - November 10, 2025 Robert "Bob" Butteri who was born in Coraopolis PA, passed away peacefully November 10th. Son of Matthew Butteri and Betty Mae Shay, brother to Matthew. Bob was the beloved husband of Julia Kosto for 56 years and the father of three sons. James, Gregg (Amy) and Marc (Nicole). He was a devoted grandfather to six grand-children and a cherished great grandfather to one. "Uncle Bobby" to all his nieces and Nephews. His life reflected hard work, integrity and devotion to his family. He was guided by his faith and took pride in providing for his family. After graduating High School, he began working at J&L Steel and eventually retired from The Pittsburgh Laborers Local 1058. His smile and sense of humor made everyone always feel welcome and at ease. You weren't allowed to leave his home with an empty stomach or without a fond farewell. In his younger years he enjoyed golf, watching his kids and grandkid play sports and definitely not last, fishing. Bob's legacy lives on in the love of his children, grandchildren and in the lives, he positively influenced through his sincere love and kindness. He was a light for how God intended us to live. "Pap Pap" will be deeply missed.

Visitation Friday (Nov. 14th) 1-7 PM at Copeland's Moon Township, 981 Brodhead Rd. where prayers will be recited on Saturday (Nov. 15th) at 9:15 AM  followed by Mass at Most Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish, St. Joseph Church, at 10 AM. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, family suggests donations in his name to Sisters of Divine Providence,  9000 Babcock Blvd, Allison Park, PA 15101.
