Richey L. Stevens, 69, a life-long resident of Coraopolis, passed away on Monday, May 24, 2021, at his residence. Richey was born in Sewickley on March 29, 1952, one of eight children to the late Winfred and Evelyn (Horton) Stevens. Richey was a 1970 graduate of Coraopolis High School and went to further studies at Springfield College. He was a retired employee of US Air where he had been a ramp agent. Richey was a quiet gentleman who stayed to himself. Richey made friends wherever he went and would go out of his way to help others. Richey is survived by a daughter; sister, Theresa Parrish of Coraopolis, brother, Maurice Stevens of Louisburg, NC and sister, Annette Whittlesay of Ft. Walton Beach, FL; brother-in-law to Roosevelt Jones, Paulette Stevens and Elizabeth Stevens; along with a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Shelley Jones, David Stevens, Curtis Stevens, and Mona Stevens. Most recently, he made his home at Woodcrest where he was liked by all.
