Richard David Holst

Richard Holst of Moon Township, known to friends and family as "Dobe," passed away on December 24, 2018, at the age of 51. Born August 20, 1967, Dobe was the son of Richard Holst and the late, Carole (Branagan) Holst. Brother of Mark (Lahna) Holst of Mechanicsburg and Maura (Michael) Fornataro of New Castle; Uncle of Mariah and Michael. 
Dobe was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan who enjoyed attending Pirate games and sharing his great love of music with family and friends. Often recognized by his laugh, Dobe brought smiles to all who knew him, and his kindness touched many hearts. 
"Now, the Man of the Hour is taking his final bow. As the curtain comes down, I feel that this is just goodbye for now....."
Please join us on Saturday, January 19th, at Copeland's Moon Township, 981 Brodhead Road. Visitors will be received from 12-2:00 PM, with a blessing service at 1:30 PM.
