Hartman, Rhonda Gay, of Sewickley, passed on Wednesday, April 7, 2021; beloved wife of David A. Borkovic. Rhonda was a brilliant and elegant law professor who focused on innovative surgical procedures and the rights of children and adolescents. While at Duquesne University’s Law School, she was interviewed by NPR, the BBC and other media outlets and spoke at international conferences, universities and institutions. Her writings were widely published in law and medical journals, and the leading law textbooks reprinted and discussed her articles. She served as a peer-reviewer for the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) and for JAMA Pediatrics. She was a past-president of the Pittsburgh Symphony Association, a past-Officer and Director of the Ladies Hospital Aid Society and the Twentieth Century Club. She participated in societies at the Duquesne Club and was a member of the Alliance Francaise de Pittsburgh. Interment is being held privately at the convenience of the family. There will be a Memorial Service at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made the Animal Friends, 562 Camp Horne Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15237. Arrangements entrusted to R. D.
