Rhoda Jane McCoy

Rhoda Jane McCoy, age 68, of Sherrills Ford, NC, formerly of Pittsburgh passed away at her home in NC on Friday, February 21, 2025. She was the daughter of the late Nancy and William Meanor. Beloved wife of over 33 years of Steven McCoy; loving mother of Jamie (Joshua) Brooks and Brent McCoy; dear grandmother of Oliver, Scarlett, Henry and Ella; sister of Richard (Patricia) Meanor, Diane Battista and David Meanor. Rhoda was a graduate of Moon Area High School and continued her education at Slippery Rock University, where she attained her bachelor’s degree in education. She worked for American Airlines as a flight attendant for 25 years and retired in 2005. She enjoyed crafting in her she shed, gardening and rehabbing plants. She also enjoyed traveling and going to the family cabin, but her most precious time was with her kids and grandkids. Friends received at R. D. Copeland, Inc., 981 Brodhead Road, Moon Township on Sunday from 4 – 7 pm and Monday from 12 pm until time of service and remembrance at 2 pm.
