Raymond J. “Doc” Leseck, 90, of Neville Island, formerly of Ingomar, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by family on Thursday, September 25, 2025. Doc was born in Pittsburgh on August 20, 1935, son of the late Julius “Joe” and Vallie Leseck and Anna and Luis Kayda. Doc was a life-long learner and loved to teach others. Doc obtained his bachelor's degree, master’s degree, and doctorate degree from St. Vincent College in the fields of education and metallurgical engineering. He had retired from US Airways where he was in teaching administration for 25 years. Doc had been an instructor for Westinghouse and A W Beaty Tech. He also had been a consultant for coal mines in non-destructive testing. Doc served in our local International Guard for 35 years and had obtained the rank of Major. Doc loved sports and stayed active all his life with tennis and was a pitcher for his adult softball team. Camping was always something he enjoyed and that is where he met his wife, Antoinette “Toni”. Both he and his wife, in addition to camping, loved to dance whether it was ballroom dancing, jitterbug, the twist or slow dancing. Beloved husband and best friend for 20 years to Toni (Bellone); cherished father of Linda Elias (Jimmy), Lonny Leseck (Darla), and Leah McAfee (Bill); half-brother of Joey Leseck; stepfather of Lauri Hoover (Perry) and Rob Keiser (Maya); grandfather of Bailey (Joe), Eric, Gianna, Skylar, Kayla, Bryce, and Bria; step grandfather of Kara, Cayla (Rob), Jenna, Madeline (Adam), and Charlotte; great grandfather of Andi. Visitation Monday (Sept. 29th, 2025) from 11 AM until time of Blessing Service at 1 PM at Copeland’s Coraopolis, 867 Fifth Ave. Burial will be private at Union Cemetery in Arnold, PA.
