Ralph “Cheech” Bosetti, age 93, of Moon Twp, PA, passed away on February 24, 2026, in his home after a courageous battle with lung cancer.
He was born on June 17, 1932, in Moon Township to the late Pompilio and Lucy (Regotti) Bosetti. He graduated from Moon High School in 1950 and was enlisted in the Army soon thereafter. When he returned from serving in Korea, he began his career at TWA where he remained employed until he retired.
After retirement, you could find him perch or walleye fishing, tinkering with some sort of broken machine, immersed in a book, or cheering for the Steelers. He also enjoyed a quality anchovy pizza and telling (sometimes inappropriate) jokes. More than anything, though, he loved to be in the presence of his family. He will forever be remembered as a listening ear, source of wisdom, and giver of unwavering love and support.
Ralph is survived by his beloved wife Nancy (Ciarallo) of 65 years, sister Blanche Rupert, daughter Kathy (David) Dorogy, son Tom (Jill) Bosetti, grandchildren Randall (Regina) Bosetti, Michael (Cari) Bosetti, Kaitlin Bosetti, Elizabeth (Josh) Holzworth, Christopher (Kelly) Dorogy, Jonathan (Julie) Dorogy, great-grandchildren Owen, Ella, Harper, Lydia, Evan, Nora, Luke, and Mia, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Eugene Bosetti and sisters Elsie Plumb and Edith DeLaquila.
Friends received on Thursday from 2 – 4 & 6 – 8 pm at R. D. Copeland, Ltd., 867 Fifth Avenue, Coraopolis where a funeral prayer will be held on Friday at 9:30 am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Joseph Church at 10 am. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery.
