Obituary
Phyllis (Jennart) Nolte, 87, of Canonsburg, formerly of McKees Rocks, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 6, 2023 at Concordia Villa St. Joseph. Phyllis was born in McKees Rocks, PA on July 24, 1936, the only child born to the late Victor and Henrietta (Richards) Jennart. On May 24, 1982, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband James B. Nolte whom she married on June 23, 1956. She is survived by her four wonderful children Karen Bruce and husband David of Beaver Falls, PA, Mark Nolte and wife Christina of Maize, KS, Lorrie Beeman and husband Brian of Boardman, OH and Darlene Nolte with whom she made her home in Canonsburg; six cherished grandchildren Rachel Wetzel and husband “J.P.” James, Ashley Hileman and husband Jonathan, Blaire Petersheim and husband Brendan, “Cassie” Cassandra Meloy and husband James, Dr. Victoria Nolte and Julie Nolte; 8 great grandchildren Ivy, Beckett, Declan, Jack, Liam, James, Mikalah, and Colton; and her furry friend Shelby the Weimaraner . Phyllis was an accountant and office manager, retiring in 2005. She was a 1954 graduate of McKees Rocks High School. She loved reading especially her Bible. She loved her family and will be missed greatly. Arrangements by Copeland’s.
