Peter C. Hafner

Peter C. Hafner, age 56, of Moon Township, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, May 9, 2018. Born on July 26, 1961 in Pittsburgh, he was one of four to the late Walter and Regina (Carr) Hafner. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Carol Pritchard. Pete is survived by his loving children, Chris and Regina Hafner; former spouse Arla (Rasel) Hafner; sister Rosemary (John) Koniski of Steubenville, OH and brother William (Cathy) Hafner of Daphne, AL; also, several nieces and nephews; and last but not least, his devoted and well-loved rescue dog, Buster. Pete was a former employee of Fed Ex Ground where as a videographer, he compiled all the training videos. Pete was an avid Pittsburgh Sports Fan, loved to garden-especially vegetables and collecting and painting lead toy soldiers. Visitation Monday 4-8 PM at Copeland’s Moon Township, 981 Brodhead RD. where a Blessing Service will be held on Tuesday at 10 AM. Father Frank Kurimsky celebrant. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
