Patricia Dale (Silver) Casella

Patricia Dale Silver Casella; May 8, 1944 - December 31, 2022. Pat is off on another adventure. She left this planet to explore the universe and beyond. This will be a very different world without her. She leaves behind her adored children, Catherine (Renny) Manning (Greg), and William Casella (Biz Zimney) two beloved granddaughters, Catherine Fordyce Manning (Dicey) and Elizabeth Carpenter Manning (Libby). Dicey and Libby will always treasure the many life lessons they learned from their grandmother. Always curious, interested, and well read, her enthusiasm for others was genuine and profound. Pat was a force of nature. She truly appreciated the natural world, and this was often reflected in her watercolors. Her zest for life, creativity, continuous positivity, and ability to overcome challenges and face the world with a smile was her superpower. Anyone who knew Pat knows how much she loved an adventure and a party. Always ready to celebrate, it seems fitting her adventure into the next world occurred on New Year's Eve. Born in Akron, Ohio, Pat was the eldest of four girls, Virginia Silver (Taggart), Barbara Silver (Johnson) and Dale Silver who will miss her greatly as will her wide reach of countless friends from all corners of the world. A celebration of Pat will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2023 from 4 - 6 pm at the Edgeworth Club, 511 East Drive, Sewickley, PA 15143.
