Orlando Renne

Orlando Renne, age 89, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, of Moon Township, passed away on Sunday, May 14, 2023 at St. Clair Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA. He was born in Falerna, Catanzaro, Italy, on November 28, 1933. Devoted husband for 63 years to the late Vincenza Renne, loving father of Fiorigi “Gino” and wife Joan Renne of Fredrick, MD, retired USAF Colonel Jerry and wife Laura Renne of Fairfax Station, VA, and Orlando Renne, Jr. of Moon Township; devoted grandfather of Bianca, Juliana, Nicolas, Spencer, Orlando III and Michael; great-grandfather of Adeline and Viviana, cherished brother of Paolo Nicastri of Italy and the late Maria Vavala of Switzerland. Orlando was a member of St. Andrew Presbyterian Church, Sewickley, where they lived and raised their family. He loved his family dearly, and was especially proud of all his grandchildren. Like most first generation US citizens, he worked hard and sacrificed to build the foundation for his sons, their families and follow-on generations to thrive and grow. We hold you in our hearts forever and will always miss you. Visitation Monday 5-8 at Copeland’s Moon Township, 981 Broadhead Rd. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 10:30 AM, with entombment immediately following at Resurrection Cemetery. Mr. Dave Klineburger will officiate.
