Merle E. Revis

Merle E. Revis, 84, a life-long resident of Coraopolis, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, May 5, 2022, from Caring Heights. Merle was born in Sewickley on December 1, 1937, one of five children to the late Eddie K. and Ruth (Shackelford) Revis. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother and sister-in-law Michael and Marcia Revis. Merle had worked at Roffler’s. Merle was very involved with her church, Whosoever Will’s. She was an usher, Sunday School Teacher, and ministered to those in the nursing homes. Just like all of the Revis’s, Merle, graduated from the Harty Bible School in Pittsburgh in 1968. Merle was outgoing, a real extrovert, and had a wonderful way of making people feel accepted and loved. She was a faithful person, ready to share her faith with others. She is the beloved sister of Barbara (James) Chavers, Eddie (Regina) Revis and Mark Revis; also many cherished nieces and nephews and loving friends.  Visitation Tuesday (May 10th) 5-8 PM at Copeland’s Coraopolis, 867 Fifth Ave. Further visitation on Wednesday (May 11th) from 10 AM until time of service at 11 AM at Whosoever Will’s, 878 1st Ave., Coraopolis, PA 15108. Burial will be private at Sewickley Cemetery.
