Melinda "Mindy" Frye

Melinda “Mindy” Frye, age 50, of Aliquippa passed away on Friday, June 27, 2025.  She was born the daughter of Irene (Zahocowski) and the late Wayne Hyatt. Beloved wife and soulmate of Dustin Frye; loving stepmother of Marleah Frye; dear sister of Debbie (Harry) Cook, Wayne Hyatt and Karen (John) Crowe; aunt of Jessie, Alisha, Brandon, Savannah, James, Marissa and Olivia, and the greatest kitty mom to Twix, Callie and Fuzzy. Mindy was special and very outgoing, touching so many people all around her with love, grace and laughter. She created special relationships with all the families she worked with while caring and mentoring their children as a Nanny. Mindy loved nature, dolphins, and the outdoors. She will be missed by all who knew her, but most especially by her family. Friends received at R. D. Copeland, Ltd., 867 Fifth Avenue, Coraopolis of Thursday from 2 – 7 pm with a Funeral Service at 4 pm.
