Maureen Ann "Mo" Aiken

Maureen Ann "Mo" Aiken of Coraopolis, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully at home on February 18, 2026, at the age of 84. Born on July 24, 1941, in Binghamton, New York, Maureen lived a life marked by devotion to her faith, love for her family, and compassion for all living beings.

Maureen was a devoted wife to the late Thomas Aiken and a loving mother to Joseph, Grace, David (Theresa), and the late Jennifer. She was a cherished grandmother to Ashley (Garrett) and Bethany and a proud great-grandmother to her adorable great grandchildren.

Sister to James (Pamela), Marguerite (Boyd), Marilyn, Deborah, Diane, and Jonathan (Gina). Preceded in death by her father Peter Martin and mother Marie Martin (McNerney).  Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A woman of deep faith and service, Maureen was an active member of both Saint Margaret Mary Church in Moon Township and St. Joseph Church in Coraopolis. Her commitment to her community extended beyond worship; she served as a Boy Scout Den Leader, Brownie’s Leader, Eucharistic Minister, delivered meals on wheels, participated in the community Welcome Wagon and local PTA and dedicated herself to visiting the sick and elderly, offering companionship and comfort with grace and kindness.

Maureen’s love for animals was evident throughout her life. An avid animal lover and reader, she found joy in the simple pleasures of spending time with her pets and immersing herself in books. Above all else, she treasured moments spent with her family—sharing stories, laughter, and love across generations.

Her warmth touched many lives through both her quiet acts of kindness and steadfast presence in the lives of those around her. Maureen's legacy is one of compassion, faithfulness, and enduring love.

May her memory bring comfort to those who knew her. A visitation will be held on Monday, February 23, 2026, from 3 to 7 PM at R. D. Copeland Funeral Home at 867 Fifth Avenue, Coraopolis, PA 15108. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at 10 AM at Most Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish, 1304 Fourth Ave, Coraopolis, PA 15108. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Beaver County Humane Society, 3394 Brodhead Road, Aliquippa, PA 15001.
